Information We Collect

Daily Fortune can be used without creating an account, and we do not collect personal identifiers such as your name or email address. Your birth date is processed in the browser for the fortune calculation and is not sent to or stored on our servers. Only when you use the sharing feature do we store an anonymous snapshot of that day's fortune result.

Browser Storage

Your birth date is stored only in your browser's localStorage so you do not have to enter it again. It remains on your device and is used only to calculate today's result from the current date's iljin.

Retention and Deletion

Results saved for share links are kept until you ask us to delete them. To request deletion, send the result page address to ootssu@ootssu.com and we will delete it promptly after confirming.

Service Providers and International Transfers

We rely on the providers below to run the service, and some of them process information outside Korea. Transfers happen over the network at the time you use the service.

• Vercel Inc. (United States) — website hosting and access logs
• Supabase Inc. (data stored in India) — result data for share links and anonymous usage records
• Google LLC (United States) — usage statistics via Google Analytics
• Kakao Corp. (Korea) — advertising via Kakao AdFit

Advertising Cookies

We show ads through Kakao AdFit, Kakao's advertising platform, to support the service. Kakao may collect and use cookies or similar browser identifiers and visit information to serve ads and measure their performance, as described in Kakao's privacy policy. You can limit personalized ads by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.
